CHURCHES, MONASTERIES AND MONUMENTS

The first recommendation as tourist destiny in Catalonia, would be Montserrat: nature reserve, museum and Sanctuary of the Mistress of Catalonia, " The Moreneta ". In Gerona they find the Jewish neighborhood, the Arabic Baths and the Cathedral of Santa Maria; he visits Besalú and his two Romanesque churches, Sant Vicenç and Sant Pere, and his strengthened bridge. Ripoll shelters the Monastery of Santa Maria. On the coast the ruins must be visited grecorromanas of Empúries, Cadaqués, and the center walled of Tossa of Sea. Tarragona, it shows us the Roman Amphitheatre and his impressive walls, the monastery strengthened of Poblet and Santes Creus's monastery. The Vall de Boí of Lerida, it shows nice Romanesque Catalan churches of the centuries XI and XII.
